"Very positive experience: professional and friendly. I got two consultations on one day: tattoo and tattoo removal. Both artists and the consultant made me feel heard and reassured me in my previous disappointing experience with other tattoo studio. I was given a good advice which was honest however showed me they know what they are doing and won’t force me into a quick solution just to get my money. Now I will start a long process of tattoo removal, followed by a design of a new project."

How much does it cost?

At OSCO, we price laser tattoo removal based on square-inch density and design of your tattoo, not ruler measurements. This means you only pay for the precise area of ink being treated — not unnecessary space around it.

If you’re unsure of your tattoo size, just ask — it’s often cheaper than you think.

We’re currently offering 50% off your first session and 20% off unlimited packages.

What happens in the consultation?

Your journey starts with a free skin assessment and patch test, where we evaluate your tattoo, skin type, and goals.

Will I get a patch test first?

Yes. The patch test is an essential safety step and helps us see how your skin reacts to the laser. It also gives you a sense of what the treatment will feel like before starting your sessions.

How many laser sessions will I need?

Most tattoos need 6–10 sessions, spaced 6–8 weeks apart. Some clients see strong fading in fewer sessions, while others — especially those with  multicoloured tattoos — may need more. We’ll give you an honest estimate during your consultation.

Will it hurt?

Laser tattoo removal isn’t pain-free, but it’s tolerable. Most clients describe it as a short, sharp sensation similar to a rubber band snap. The XLASE Plus system we use is designed for efficient results with minimal discomfort, and we offer numbing options if needed.

How long does each session take?

The length of your appointment will be around 30 minutes in total, whilst the actual laser process takes around 5/10 minutes. The size of the tattoo will also influence the length of time it takes

Are there any side effects?

Mild redness, swelling, or frosting immediately after treatment is normal and usually subsides within a few hours. Blistering or scabbing can occur as part of the healing process. These are temporary and part of the body’s natural recovery.

How will my skin look after treatment?

Immediately after, the treated area might appear white or frosted, followed by some redness or mild blistering. Over the following days, light scabs may form before fading naturally.

Most people return to normal activities the same day.

Will the laser scar my skin?

When performed by trained professionals, laser tattoo removal should not cause scarring. Our practitioners are highly experienced, and the XLASE Plus system is engineered to protect surrounding skin tissue. Proper aftercare ensures smooth, healthy healing.

Why does the ink stay in the skin when you have a tattoo?

Tattoo ink sits below the skin’s surface, where it becomes trapped by immune cells. Your body can’t naturally remove it — which is why it’s permanent until laser treatment breaks those particles down.

How does the laser actually remove the tattoo?

The XLASE Plus emits concentrated light energy that shatters the ink particles beneath the skin without damaging surrounding tissue. Over the weeks that follow, your immune system naturally clears away these fragments, causing the tattoo to fade.

Why does it take longer to remove certain colours?

Different inks absorb light differently. Black ink responds fastest because it absorbs all wavelengths of light, while lighter shades like blue, green, or red may take more sessions as they reflect more light.

Is laser removal safe for all skin types?

Yes — the XLASE Plus laser is suitable for most skin tones and types. During your consultation, we’ll assess your skin and carry out a patch test to ensure a safe, effective approach for your specific complexion.

Is there any aftercare required after each session?

Yes. Aftercare is key to healing well and achieving great results.

We’ll give you specific guidance, but generally: keep the area clean and dry, avoid sun exposure and tanning, and do not pick or scratch the skin. Ensure that you apply the recommended healing balm or cream as instructed for best results.

Following these steps helps reduce irritation and prevent infection.

How long should I wait between sessions?

We recommend 6–8 weeks between sessions. This allows your body to process the broken-down ink and for your skin to fully heal before the next treatment.

Can I have a new tattoo in the same area afterwards?

Yes. Once the skin has fully healed and your old tattoo has faded enough, you can safely get a cover-up. If you book in for a cover-up and wish to have your tattoo faded, you can save 30% off your laser treatment.

Many OSCO clients choose to fade old tattoos before getting a new one — and our team can help plan both processes together.

Can I remove only part of a tattoo?

Yes - however areas may require a touch-up afterwards. Laser removal can be precisely targeted to fade or completely remove specific sections of a tattoo while leaving other parts intact but there may still be some minor overlap causing unwanted removal in parts.

What’s the difference between full removal and fading?

Full removal aims to eliminate all visible pigment.Fading is a lighter approach used to reduce saturation, making way for a new tattoo. Your specialist will discuss which option suits your goals best.

When will I start seeing results?

You’ll often notice fading after the first or second session, though results build gradually as the body clears away ink particles over time.

Do I need to prepare before my session?

Yes — avoid tanning, applying fake tan, or using active skincare products on the area for at least two weeks before treatment. Clean, untanned skin ensures the best results.

What happens if I miss a session?

Missing a session won’t undo your progress, but it can slow your results. We’ll help you get back on track with your treatment plan if life gets in the way.

Can I exercise after treatment?

It’s best to avoid intense exercise, saunas, and swimming for 24–48 hours after treatment to prevent irritation.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes, we can discuss flexible payment options for larger treatment plans during your consultation.
